Our annual Flute Marathon Recital is on June 8, 2024! Everyone, at any level of experience, is welcome—beginners, middle school, high school, University/Conservatory, and pros.  Any type of ensemble is welcome, so long as there’s at least one flute involved.  All of it is just for FUN!  No prizes, no awards, no written commentaries, JUST FUN!

Registration Information: Priority registration will open on April 15 for current KCFA members, participation is free. Non-member registration will open on May 1 for a $10 participation fee. Once you have registered, you will receive a link to our sign-up page to reserve your time slot. Times are available on a first come, first served basis.

Teachers--if playing an ensemble piece with your student we request that you do not sign up your group, instead your student should complete the sign up to ensure that all performers are registered appropriately.

Registration will close on June 1st to give us enough time to finalize and print the programs, no exceptions.

Soloists will need to provide their own accompanists, so be sure to check the date and time with yours before signing up! We'd also love to have chamber pieces performed. All flutists in a chamber group need to either be members of KCFA or pay the performer's fee, non-flutists do not need to pay.

Performances will begin at the top of each hour and include a ten minute break at the end. Since support for each other is an important part of this event, performers and audience members are expected to be present for the full block of time for which a performer registers. Ideally, flutists and other audience members will be able to hear lots of other performers and will choose to come early and stay late!
